IPhone 4 was dropped in my pool?

I got it out and didn't think to turn it off. I had music playing and it stopped. I dried it off and it's been in a bowl of rice since 5. My back camera has water droplets inside the camera (it looks foggy) and my flash won't shut off. My phone was on 75% when I dropped it. It's been 5 and a half hours. Shouldn't the battery have died already? Will my phone ever work again? And how long should I keep my phone in the rice?

Just keep it in the rice for 48 hrs and it should work

Open up the back plate. If it is pink in the back next to the battery, then you can't fix the phone. Leave it in rice for a few days and try it… Good luck lovely.

I dropped mine in the ocean, the sink, and the bath tub. I got some bad water marks and stuff from it, but I banged the side hard on the table being sure it won't crack, and it cleared. It worked after it dropped, but I couldn't see anythink but this off white color. I banged it, and all I have is a tiny water mark. It was cracked before I dropped it tho. And I got a new phone anyway.

You need to leave your iPhone in rice for several days of you have any hope to have it work like before. The wetter it was means it needs more time to dry out, leave in buried in rice for 3 - 4 days.
