Dropped my iPhone in water, now it won't turn on?

I dropped my iPhone 6 in shallow water last night, it was only submerged for a couple seconds. I dried it off but noticed some water got into the screen. There was a spot in the corner of the screen (nickel-sized). I turned it off and put it in rice for 12 hours, tried to turn it on again and it wouldn't respond. I tried putting in the charger and it doesn't turn on still. Also, my home button is broken so I can't try anything that has to do with that. I didn't know what else to do so I put it in the freezer, since that's what fixed it last time but I think it's because it was overheating. Help! I can't take it to the Apple Store because I live in Hawaii, we don't have one.

You didn't leave it in rice long enough I completed submerged my 5c for about 2 seconds then left it in rice for 2 days and it's perfectly normal now

Place the phone on a counter in the house and give it more time to dry out as all moisture must be evaporated so the phone will have the best chance of working again. I dropped mine in the pool and took it out immediately, and it took five days for it to dry out so it'll work. I have an iPhone 6s and it's working just fine. What's wrong with Apple for not having an Apple Store in Hawaii as there should be at least one one each inhabited island, especially on the islands where the tourists go. I suggest writing a letter to Apple and asking them to put Apple stores on the islands where tourists go, and name each island.
