Dropped my iPhone in water? Worried anything will happen to my phone?

Everything still working fine now, I'm on it now… I blow dried it for like 20 secs. As it only stayed in water for like 2 seconds could my phone still mess up?

Place the phone in an empty jar, and then fill the jar with dry, uncooked rice. The rice will draw the moisture out of the phone. It might take a couple days.

Ohh, don't blow dry! That releases electro.agnetic waves that can damage more.
use a bag of rice to completely absorb the moisture for a full 24 hours.

That sucks

If it is an iPhone 7 on up it should be fine since they have IP67 or 68 rating for water resistance.

If not & it is still working it should be fine as well based on what you said.

  • Why is my car playing music from my iPhone, even though I didn't do anything to make that happen? Also, I was watching a YouTube video at the end of yesterday, and when I got in my car, the title of the video appeared in my car audio display screen. Could I have watched the video? The car has a backup camera, so there's a TV screen in the car. (BTW I have a 2015 Honda Civic LX)
  • If you spill soda on an iPhone screen will anything happen? This is kinda stupid, but I just got my new iPhone 4S with my phone upgrade and I'm gonna try to keep it in perfect condition, I have a case and a screen protector on, and I was drinking a monster and a drop spilled on the screen, so I was kinda worried it might burn through the screen protector and damage the screen, could that happen? Or will anything happen to the screen?
  • I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
  • I dropped my Iphone 5 in water, should i be worried? So i was washing my hands and my phone fell into the sink while the water was still running. The phone wasn't submerged but it got wet. I turned it off immediately and threw it in a bag of rice just for precaution. Should i be worried considering the phone was never submerged and leave it in the bag or am i freaking out over nothing and my phone is fine?
