Dropped my iphone into a bucket of watered down PVA?
I put my phone on a chair next to the bucket and it slipped of into the bucket. It was in there for about 2/3 seconds than i took the case of and dried it off. (It had a really big toy story alien case on)
Pva got into the headphone jack and charger bit and i got it out and it still charges and the headphones work in it.
I thought everything was ok then suddnly the sound stopped working with music and youtube. But it still works when i press down for siri? And i can't change the volume with the buttons? Only for siri. Not for the music or youtube?
What's happened please help me? I've only had it for like 3 weeks! My parents are going to kill me!
Be more careful with the replacement.
Prepare to die. You will be phoneless until they get over it. Next time ask them to arrange accident insurance as you are poor at looking after stuff.
It must have a warranty?
the people there should repair it.
i think it comes under accidental damage
and the phone still works they should repair it free

It works apart from the mute button, back camera and the lock button. I turned it off with the assistive touch and put it in some uncooked rice. Can you guys please tell me if i can do anything else?

It was and still is working fine (speakers etc all fine) apart from the main camera which is blurry with water vapour on the inside of the lens and youtube videos are not rotating (although that may just be a glitch in the app). My friends are telling me to put it in a bowl of rice to absorb excess water but it's currently charging and is working fine. What should I do?
- I dropped my iPhone down the toilet So i was brushing my teeth and my iPhone was in my hoodie pocket i bent down and when i did that my phone slipped out and landed in the loo. I pulled it out within seconds and it seemed like it was working i dried it and ran down to the kitchen to put it in rice. I was playing music from it before and it carried on playing, it sounded okay then i went crackly i turned off the phone immediately and left it in the rice. What should i do? How long should i leave it in the rice for?
