Iphone 4S dropped down the toilet
I dropped my iPhone 4s down the toilet earlier. The back camera is blurry. The phone itself is working but won't register with iTunes. I've put it in a bag of rice in the airing cupboard to dry out. Do you think this will be enough to bring it back to life?

Yes, the rice thing is known to work as it absorbs the water. The problem however, is with corrosion that sets in afterwards. You may find that your iPhone will recover, but may develop long term problems.
If it doesn't work in the long term, you may have to consider using your phone insurance (if you have any), or checking your bank account to see if that has any type of handset cover.
Finally, Apple stores will exchange a water damaged handset for a fee. I believes it's around £150 for a replacement iPhone4s. Expensive yes, but cheaper than buying a new one I suppose.

Burried yr phone in cup of uncooked rice or sillica gel packets. Better to use sillica gel packets its a best water absorbent.

I mean why would you be using the phone in the bathroom in the first place, and it aint just white girls that do this too, this one black girl and a mixed girl i know drop their phone in the toilet too. the bathroom is for business not phones AM I RIGHT?

- If you were to flush plastic down the toilet? Will it go down? Or will it float back up and choke up the pipe. The plastic is a little smaller than an iPhone 3. Like maybe 3cm smaller.
- I dropped my iPhone six down the toilet? Although everything works (apart from the finger print) I'm still weary as I have heard stores where they have dropped their phone down the toilet and it was fine but the next day it didn't work. I only dropped it a few hours ago and it was in there for another 1-2 seconds. Would appreciate any advice on how to maybe stope it not working in the near future.
