Erase all Content and Settings iPhone boot loop issue?
Beforehand:
Yes, my phone is jailbroken, and yes i know why its in a boot loop (The spinning wheel with a black screen that stays there infinatley). I just need help getting out of it. I know you can hold the power and home button to get out of it fairly easily, however, my home button is completely 100% broken.SO.
Here is my issue:
I was having some issues with my jailbroken iPhone 4 and i wanted to wipe it. However, if you do a restore via itunes it forces an update on your phone (which i did not want). So the next alternative i found was the "Erase all Content and Settings" which is in Settings>General>Reset. Without doing enough research on it, i went ahead and clicked it. The thing is, if you do this while your phone is jailbroken it goes into an infinite boot loop and will not come out of it (I found this out after i had already done it). After some more research i found that many people have been able to get out of this simply by holding the HOME and Power button down at the same time without any issues. Well, my home button is broken like i said, so i'm stuck. ALSO my phone is NOT recognized on my computer for some reason while its in boot loop.
Is there any alternative ways to get out of this boot loop?
Please and thank you, i need my phone back soon…
You can't restore or erase once it was jailbroke.
sell it for parts
