How to have my erased data in my phone untraceable? Or how to change my phones serial number

My boyfriends best friend has this computer program. My boyfriend asked me (on my iphone) to go to settings, general, and about and screenshot the information. He asked me for the Serial Number.

he did this because he was fishy about me lying and he said he paid like $200 to this guy to literally see all my erased photos, erased messages, erased contacts and phone calls or all my pictures in general just literally my whole phone and the worst part is that he can see everything i've ever deleted even before we dated.

i know it's true because he told me he found things i've deleted before i was with him so it is a real thing.

My point i'm trying to ask is please can someone please help me to find a way for him not to be able to do that again. I see in my setting it says in "Reset" "Erase All Content and Settings". But i looked it up and it says that that doesn't erase the actual phone. I just need it to be where he can't see the stuff i've deleted or a way where i can change my phones serial number or something with the serial number, please i'm honestly desperate its driving me crazy.

The FBI would literally pay millions to be able to do that to any iOS device. That is how hard it is to do what you've explained.

If what you say is true then your boyfriend has either found a genius hacker, a 1 in a billion OR he found another way to get said photos and using this story as a cover up. There are software out there to recover deleted photos but it requires you to plug it into a computer. My guess is he has done this and found stuff, instead of coming clean he has fabricated this story

To answer your question, there's nothing more you can do than erase data. It's impossible for you to change any serial numbers of your device, this is hard coded by Apple

Your boyfriend is lying to you. What I think he has done is gotten into your iCloud account online, viewed all your saved pictures, many of which you have deleted from the phone. He will not have found things you deleted months ago, because most if not all of it has been over written by new files, text, email and pictures over the months. And he is not doing anything remotely unless he is issuing a couple of sites that allow you to log into any account that you have both the Apple ID and iCloud log in info for. And he'd be paying to do that.

So change your Apple ID or your iCloud password (the latter would be easier). When he asks for it again, tell him, no thanks, you drone wish to play that game anymore. Way past time to get a new boyfriend., if you ask me.
