Export iPhone text messages to PDF?

I have an iPhone 5 on iOS 7 with a MacBook on 10.7.5.

I have tried the method described here: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/backup-iphone-sms/

This ended up with weird errors, like listing the Text Messages separately from iMessages. This makes conversations impossible to follow, since the message will be sent as a Text Message if the iMessage fails. This happened fairly frequently.

And I have tried the application DiskAid.

This worked much better, yet still some texts were just plain out of order. Also, it listed them in the order of most recent first. I can't understand that, because within the application, it displayed them fine. None of the problems started until after I exported it.

So I would like to have all my messages in the order that they appear on my phone, including emojis. It needs to be in PDF, so that the emojis will still appear on a windows machine. The person I'm sending this to has a windows computer.

What is the best way I can do this?

Thanks.

Added (1). There appear to be errors with the file… Some text messages have a timestamp that do not match the order in which they were received and sent… Is there any way to fix this or will I have to do it manually?

You can simply download Backuptrans iPhone SMS + MMS Extractor for Mac to help. Easy to use.
