Eyes are worsening, is this normal?

So this is what happened,
I got my iPhone this summer, it was boring at first, but then I got apps that I really liked. I spent hours on these apps daily, I would just keep playing these games and checking my feed on apps like Instagram. Anyways, I got new glasses a few weeks after I got my iPhone. My eyes were fine, then months later my eyes got really bad, to the point that it was hard to see the faces on television. My eyes have defenently gotten worse and I want them to get better. Tell me, is this a LOGICAL reason for eye worsening? If you say no explain why, I think this is the reason.

I very much doubt the iPhone messed up your eyes, I'm guessing you are in your teens and there are probably other people in your family that wear/need glasses. When kid's eyes start to go bad it can happen pretty fast during the time they are growing rapidly. Sometimes you can need new glasses in well under a year which sucks as it can get pretty expensive. Sometimes you can re-use the existing frames, also there are on-line sites such as www.zennioptical.com, www.glassesshop.com, etc, where you can order glasses pretty cheap.

This problem with eyes going bad seems to be genetic in origin you notice how it often runs in families. This defect has little or no relationship to how you use your eyes (if we were cars, we would have been re-called to fix the problem).

Anyway, with current technology, there isn't any special pill, diet, eye exercises, etc to make your vision go back to being normal again. If you really hate wearing glasses, you might be able to get your parents to get you contacts. They cost more money and not everybody can deal with the extra care & cleaning they need, so they may, or may not work out for you.
