Financial advice please? I'm stuck: Please?
Okay here's the story, I want an iPhone 5 but I don't have enough money. However I have an iPhone 4S and a Blackberry 9700. I'm considering to sell both and buy an iPhone 5 but it doesn't seems enough. I also have Beats (Dr. Dre) Solo special edition, I can also sell that but when I sell those I will only have an iPhone 5. Also I have 70$ cash. What should I do, should I just continue to use my stuff or get one. I know it is being greedy but I just want an advice.
You should never buy anything you can't afford. Debt on a government and personal level is what is destroying our country. Wait! Save up the money you need and then purchase.
Based on all the "stuff" that you state that you can trade to get you not quite to the amount that you need, I would suggest holding off.
However, do this… Take the amount that you paid for the iPhone4S, Blackberry 9700 and the Beats. I'm sure that this total is well over what the iPhone 5 costs. The question that you should be asking is "do I typically buy on impulse when I want something instead of waiting for what I really want?"
If you continue on this path for 20, 30 or 40 years, you will never get ahead and will end up living a far superior life financially.

- Financial Times: possible to share subscription? I installed the FT app on my iPhone and considering subscribing to it. As I don't yet know what's involved in the process of subscribing and also the relatively significant cost of £4/£6 per week I'd like to see if I could share the cost and access to the app/website with one or two others I'd find online. Good idea/possible?
