Find my iphone gave me an address?
Yesterday i lost my phone. It was dead and off. I turned on Lost Iphone immediately, then i go on icloud today and its fully charged and i have an address, but these people are an hour away! Would this be a somewhat accurate estimate of where my iphone is?
Doesn't hurt to go check, just be careful
It means someone found your phone and is now using it. You should notify your carrier at the very least. I would call the number and tell them you are the owner of the phone and you would like it back. Do not go alone to get your phone. Meet somewhere public. If they won't give it back, call the cops and let them deal with it. They are more prepared.
Yes. It would show the range of the accuracy.
- Why is Find My iPhone showing my iPad at my old address? I have an iPad connected to iCloud. When I use "Find My iPhone", it's showing at my old address. However, I moved from there months ago. It's connected to Wi-Fi at the new address. Why is it doing this?
- Today my dad upgraded to an iphone 10, and because he has the forever iphone plan he was able to keep his old phone and he gave it to me? I synced all of my apps and contacts from my old phone, a samsung, to the new one, when I texted one of my friends, I found out I was sending messages through my icloud address and I had no service. Is this something I'll have to call my carrier about to switch my number, or can it be done manually and from the phone's settings. If the it's the latter, what steps would I have to take?
- My iPhone just got stolen and i didn't put on Find my iphone. Is there a way i can find it without find my iphone? I have found out that i can remove my iphone from associated devices. Does doing this erase the iphone?
- My iPhone got stolen so I ordered a new one, the person then gave it back. Can I sell my new iPhone? I had my iPhone stolen at a campground. I deactivated it and failed a claim to get a new iPhone. The person that stole it then turned it in. Since I have my iPhone back can I sell the new one to a friend?
