First time going to a modeling agency (male). Advice needed?
Hi i'm a 19 year old guy and I decided to do some photo email submissions to various modeling agencies in NYC. I got an email back from one of them and the guy said he really like my photos and asked me if I'd be able to stop by the agency on Wednesday and to bring a portfolio if I had one.
The 3 photos I submitted were taken with self timer on my iPhone in my dorm room. They turned out surprisingly well though. Since I don't have a portfolio, should I print these out and make my own "amateur portfolio"? Or was his request for me to bring a portfolio because they wanted to see if I had other professional work? It wouldn't make sense to print out the stuff that I already emailed because they alright have it, right?
It's with Red model management so I guess it's a pretty well-respected modeling agency. I have never done anything like this so could someone possibly tell me what it is going to be like? Their open calls are from 3-5 and I'm going at 1 so I don't think it will be an open call with many others.
What should I wear? Anything else? Advice?
Get a mans job. Like join the marines you ***
Be yourself, do not dress over the top. They wanna see you for you
Red is a well respected agency. If you don't have any professional pictures then say that you don't have a portfolio. You can bring some more snapshots and just say that you don't have a portfolio as you've never done professional work before but you did bring along a few more snapshots. They aren't going to expect a portfolio if you have never professionally modeled before
Wear well fitting jeans (not baggy) and a tight white t-shirt. Be prepared to remove your shirt if they ask you to as they will often photograph you shirtless. If you are going at 1 then they want to see you one on one. An open call might have 5 or 50 people there - you never know from week to week or day to day how many people might show up
Take a few extra shots of yourself, and tell them that you haven't done anything professional before, so you don't have a portfolio. Wear slim fit jeans and a check shirt with a vest underneath. Just be yourself.
- Sims Freeplay Update - Real Estate Agency? I just downloaded the new Sims Freeplay for iPhone 4S and I completed all the steps to making a real estate agency, except I don't know how to actually build it! The next step for me is to build the agency, and to select a lot near the beach to build it on, but there's nothing over top of the lot (like an add a house or add a sim) and when I click on a beachside lot, nothing happens?
- MS Office 365 and Outlook help needed, simple but exact task needed? I have 1 email account 1 domain but a PC a Laptop and a mobile device (Iphone) I need to sync all 3 of these devices with this email account using outlook on office 365, can anyone shed some light in the matter, also what is MS exchange, I quite didn't get what is it for. My main problem is that I do not see the sent items from each device, only the received ones. And the sent items are only accessible from the device used to send them.
- Modeling portofolio VS iPhone 6 plus? I really want an iphone but i still really want to get a modeling portofolio. For those who don't know what that is, it is a book of various pictures of you that you need in order to show to companies looking for models and modeling agencies. I want to start my modeling career but i also really want a phone. I have the money for only one. And by the time i'm a model and actually make money regularly might be in the year 2025 Haha so umm what would you do in this situation?
- How to build the real estate agency in sim city? I have sim city free play on my iphone 4, and I'm at level 12 I believe. I have 3 houses built, 2 actually completed and designed, an open house, and an open lot that I'm going to use for collective farming to increase cash flow. I also have 6 sims. But for some reason I can't figure out how to open the real estate agency. It says I'm ready to build (I already completed the 3 required tasks), but I can't figure out how to build it.
