FLASHING verizon to straight talk?
I asked a question yesterday on converting my straight talk service to an iPhone 3gs, and I found out that it may or may not be terrific. Considering I live in a wooded area, I know tmobile network is out of the question.AT&T is iffy, I'm not sure if they're any good or not- especially since verizon bought them out. I'd think they're service improved but then again that's just a thought bc I've never owned any AT&T phone. If only straight talk ran off verizon… THE QUESTION: has anyone heard of "flashing" a verizon phone to straight talk? If so have you done it or know the effects of it?
"Flashing" is not needed, as Straight Talk now allows customers to place most Verizon phones (with clean ESNs of course) onto Straight Talk, with notable exceptions of iPhones and Blackberries.
- Will a verizon iPhone 4s work on Straight talk? I have an iPhone 4s which is locked on verizon, there are ways to unlock it, but my question is, will it work on Straight Talk if unlocked? I read somewhere that if unlocked it will work on any gsm network?
- Will a Verizon iPhone 4 Work on Straight Talk? I have a Verizon iPhone 4. Will it work on Straight Talk's $45 Unlimited Everything plan? I'm open to jailbreaks and unlocks.
- Using verizon iphone 4 on straight talk? Ok so I know straight talk offers the iPhone now I was wondering if I could use my out of contract iPhone 4 on their network the Walmart associates tell me that the iPhones that you can buy from straight talk come from verizon any ideas?
- I have a verizon iPhone 5 & I cut down a straight talk sim to nano sim? I want to know that when you insert the SIM card in the iPhone, is it suppose to show the signal & say HOME, or just say no service, & also I have not put any minutes or active it yet because I called straight talk & told them & they said verizon iPhone five will not work, & how come some people say it does work?
