Flying to a different state to meet someone you me online?
Have you done it? How did it go? How long did you know them before meeting?
My situation: I met this girl on an iPhone app that had nothing to do with dating or even really making friends. She messaged me we just chatted and three years later we still text all the time. She's 22 I'm 24, I want to meet her and she says she's okay with me visiting but never seems like she's thrilled at the thought.
Not really sure what to do.
When in doubt - don't
Well sounds too me that your expecting a lot when going too see her and she just isn't thinking how your thinking get your intentions across first before making the decision would be my advise too you
Well the best way is to go to that state to do other things, eg travel, go to an event etc. First it makes you look more cool, but also it means she is under less pressure.
You know in life, you never know what is going to happen, do you want to die without any scars (as Tyler Durden says). If you go there and she spurns you, you have had an adventure, experienced things.
Personally I think long-distance relationships don't work because if you can't find someone near you, then someone far away is only appealing because they are far away. Doesn't mean you can't hope, dream, wish and strive.
- What can I use to attach iPhone to a flying drone? I'm a proffesional photographer mainly photographing cars, and this Sunday is the weekly car show that I go to and my friend has a hovering drone that he is going to bring. We're trying to figure out how we can attach his iphone to it so it stays secure so that we can take pictures/videos that will turn out good to put on my photography page. We've considered Velcroe/Tape so far but are not sure. Any recommendations/help would be appreciated thanks.
- What are some iPhone free texting apps to meet new people? I really get board often so I was wonder if there were any free texting apps were you can text people who never met before. Not romanticlly but just for fun. On the is more anon and stuff. It would be even better if there was an app like that for nerdy people like Tumblr fandom lovers. If you know an app like that it would be amazing.
- Texting someone in another state? I have AT&T and an iPhone with unlimited texting. If I text a friend who's gone down south for vacation (but still in the US) will it charge me extra or pop up on my bill or anything or will it be like any other text and not show up on the bill?
- It's 2014 shouldn't we be having flying cars by now? I'm 20 and I grew up on a lot of science fiction. So when I looked to see the future I thought we would be more advanced than this. Sure some of the technology we have is quite impressive like: video games, computers, the Internet, HD TVs, smartphones and tablets, etc. But other than that the world still looks the same. Where is my flying car, my jetpack, my robot butler, moon colonies, phaser rifles, domed cities, underwater cities, food pills, etc? Why does the future suck so much?
