Found an iPhone 5 over the weekend, and I want to find the rightful owner. Suggestions?
I work for a media/events company and we just organized a big 3-day show over the weekend. An iPhone was turned into the lost and found, and nobody claimed it over the weekend. I really want to find the rightful owner of the phone, but there's a passcode on it, and their service has already been shut down.
I understand the feeling of panic when you lose something with all of your personal info on it- especially if it's a 500 dollar phone. I have no idea how to get this back to the person though, because of the passcode and the whole no service thing.
I posted an ad on craigslist too, but so far, nobody has come forward. Are there any suggestions as to anything else I should try?
Report it to the police, who will look through reports of stolen iPhones and attempt to find the rightful owner.
Maybe take it to an at&t store and see if they can locate the owner?
Could try Siri & ask who owns this device & hopefully get info from there. The service may be down but the info should still be on it unless the owner used Find My iPhone to wipe it which is not likely since it has a passcode still.
- My iPhone 4s will not connect to my home Wi-Fi no matter what suggestions I try. Any suggestions? So I never had an issue connection to my home Wi-Fi before with my iPhone 4s, until 2 days ago. I have done everything; forgotten the network, reset the network settings, ect. No matter what I read on these forums, nothing seems to really work. I don't know how to do much with electronics and such, so things suggested like with the static IP and all of that, I don't understand. Please, if anyone can help me, I'd truly appreciate it.
- My iPhone 4S keeps turning off over and over and over again? I was on my phone just listening to OM&M on pandora and going on twitter when all of a sudden it shut off and now it's stuck on the turning off screen for like an hour or two. What do i do I'm FREAKING OUT.

- I have a lost/stolen iPhone 4S, how do I find the rightful owner? I bought an iPhone 4S off of EBay and Verizon said its listed as lost/stolen. I'm getting my money back and all that jazz, I just want to find out who's phone this is? The phone was sent to me charged and it was also restored back to how it was fresh out of the factory. Is there a way to find out who's phone this is? My main priority is to find out who owns this phone.
