Found an iPhone but should keep or return it?
Ok so one day today I found an iPhone 4 at school that someone drop and I decide to pick it up and take it home and update it, but Then I was thinking should I give it back or keep it? Obviously i know i'm suppose to return it but I don't want anyone think I stole it. So what I should do?
I mean I had an iPhone too but it got stolen.So?
Also The service is on but i was wondering will they find me if I turn it off (location service)?
Turn it in at school… Just say you found it… Which you did.
Definitely return it. My dad had his phone stolen once and tracked the last phone call the person made and demanded they return it. It can also be deactivated, and my father threatened to sue and press charges, since he's a lawyer. So it's not really worth it in my opinion. Just take it to the front office and say someone dropped it. That way you won't get in any trouble.
- I found an iPhone 4s and it has a passcode but I want to keep it, how do I reset it? I don't know what the passcode is but i have an iphone but its cracked and the one i found isn't. It has a passcode on it and i don't know what it is. I was wondering if there's a way i can reset it so i can use it.
- I found a iphone 5s at kholes and i didn't return it should i keep it? This phone is pretty and I want to keep it I turned it of so the rightful; owner couldn't find it and I feel like finders keepers cause maybe the owner wasn't responsible enough and left it there so its mine so I think ill keep it but how do I make it so the owner won't find it when I turn it on?
- I found a found and nobody called. ITs been a month. What should i do? I found a iphone 5 and i factory reseted it after nobody called for about a month. A message from the owner showed up after reseting it and I called that number and texted it repeatedly but no answer. So i'm thinking of giving it to my sister since her phone broke but its locked from icloud. What can i do? I have the phones MEID & IMEI number. - What are my options? Its a waste to just throw it away.
- How to return this iphone i found? I work at a restaraunt and an iphone was left about a year and a half ago. My manager was going to throw it away but i said i would take it home. Is there any way to get the email of the person who owned it or anything? It has been updated to ios 8.3 but i can't get past the icloud lock for more info. Any suggestions?
