Found iphone, owner doesn't call back?
I found an iphone yesterday with low battery, i waited until someone called. I turned it off after a few hours to preserve the battery in case they called later, When i turned the phone back on it was on "Lost mode" with a number to call. I called and keep getting forwarded to voicemail, i also texted them multiple times that i had their phone, but nobody calls back or texts me back. What do i do?
All you can do is wait for the person to get back to you.
I would take to the store that sells phones and let them take care of it. They can pull up the phone number and find out who the owner is.
Either sit on it until the owner does check his voicemail, or give it to someone 'safe' like the location's lost & found office, a local business, Apple store, police, etc.
You've done all you can. Now hand the phone in to a police station.
Give to police.
It's not yours and that's what is supposed to be done with things you find, if you can't find the proper owner.
Maybe they are committing fraud with the insurer of the phone and don't want to be found.
Take it to a Public Library lost and found and leave that message.
Turn it in at a police station or an authorized iPhone dealer.
If you are honest, return to the police station.
Wate for like 3 months if no one calls or whatever then it is urs to keep
- What to do with found Iphone if the owner won't pick it up? I found a iphone at my cabin a few months ago, we plugged in in found and the owner. We messaged her on facebook, called her, texted her and did a lot to get it back to her. We finally got a hold of her through email. We have been waiting to hear back from her. I would go drop it off to her but she lives a hour and a half away. What do I do with the phone if she hasn't already came and gotten it? What do we do with it?

- I found an iPhone 4 or 4s out camping. How do I unlock it to contact the owner? It is currently disabled and says connect to iTunes. It won't reset because it doesn't recognize the apple id. I called apple and they said there's nothing they can do to help. What can I do to unlock it?
- I found a iphone 4 and i tried to see who the owner was a year ago and gave it to police? It seems like the carrier shut it down because it says no service. And it has to be turned on by the volume button. I got to the lockscreen but i don't know the passcode is there any software to hack it
