I found an iPhone 4 or 4s out camping. How do I unlock it to contact the owner?
It is currently disabled and says connect to iTunes. It won't reset because it doesn't recognize the apple id. I called apple and they said there's nothing they can do to help. What can I do to unlock it?
If it is locked and you don't have the correct iTunes account, it is impossible. You may be able to contact the provider (Sprint, Verizon, ATT, etc) that handles the phone. They could probably help find the owner of the phone.
You don't need to unlock it. Just turn it in to the police.
- What to do with found Iphone if the owner won't pick it up? I found a iphone at my cabin a few months ago, we plugged in in found and the owner. We messaged her on facebook, called her, texted her and did a lot to get it back to her. We finally got a hold of her through email. We have been waiting to hear back from her. I would go drop it off to her but she lives a hour and a half away. What do I do with the phone if she hasn't already came and gotten it? What do we do with it?
- Want to contact original owner of iPhone? I bought an iPhone 7 secondhand from someone and didn't turn off find my iPhone so now I'm stuck on activation lock. Is there any way I can contact them using the IMEI number?
- Locked Out Of iPhone 4? Can't Contact Previous Owner? I recently got an iPhone online. I can't contact the owner and the phone is still linked to their Apple ID. So, I can't use it. I already tried recovery mode. Didn't completely erase the phone. Still need Apple ID from previous owner. Can anyone tell me how to COMPLETELY erase it so I won't need the Apple ID or a passcode? I would truly appreciate it!
