Found lost iphone? Can they track it down?
So we found this iphone 4 and then we left it somewhere forgot all about it for about 6 months now i checked it out and it has a password, i would like it if someone could like tell me how to hack it, but what i Really need to know is if i unlock it ( i have a friend ) can someone track me down and get me into trouble or something?

Some apps allow you to track Iphones; don't be a thief and you wouldn't have to worry
Does it have the find my iPhone app or any cydia tweak that allows you to track your iPhone via computer? If it does have that, then it could be tracked.

restored or not, it can be tracked thur the imei number/carrier or itunes.
it will most likely be blacklisted once reported lost or stolen making it useless as a phone.
- Can they get into the phone if they know the passcode when it's in lost mode? I had an iPhone with a passcode and it and it got stolen by someone I know. But they know the passcode to get in the phone. If the phone is in lost mode, can they still open the phone with the passcode? Or you you have to disable it through Find my IPhone? I won't report this person but I want to make sure they can't use the phone, even if they have it.
