GarageBand (Most up-to-date version) panning/phaser problem? IPhone 5s?

Okay, so I'm trying to record a new song, and this is the first time I've ran into this problem. But I have an audio recording (2 actually) for acoustic guitar (no I-rig, just the mic from the phone) & the built-in drums they offer going through the verses. Just by themselves. But I have ran into the problem of all of those tracks lowering in volume tremendously, & then crescendoing back in high volume throughout the verse, & it works kind of like a phaser. And I'm NOT looking for that. It sounds like if you were to just turn down your volume on your phone in the middle of the song, & then back up. The thing is, I don't have any panning done to any of those tracks. No compression added. Just bass, and treble. NO panning at all, yet, there's panning? Bad. Can someone explain to me why this is, & maybe offer a solution?

Sounds like you have compression and/or limiting on the master or individual tracks; so it's automatically raising and lowering the volume settings on the thresholds during the quieter or louder parts. Less likely, you may have automatic settings on for volume control for some or all tracks. Google how to adjust or disable your automatic volume, compression, or limiter settings
