What do i need to use my condensor microphone on iphone garageband?
I use my iphone to record my music and i have an irig i plug my guitar into. I also have a condesor mic i just bought and i need to know how and what i need to record vocals with my mic threw the irig. A friend said i need a preamp and i'm wondering if i can just by a cheap berhinger mixer with a preamp and plug that into the irig?
Yes all you need is a cheap mixer with phantom power - the line output of the mixer will connect to the irig input.
- Need help with Blue Yeti Microphone? I recently purchased a Blue yeti microphone, and have been using it on my Iphone with a lightning to usb connector. All was working fine until the other day, usually when I plug my headphones into the Blue Yeti I can hear myself talking but for some reason it has just stopped doing that. The microphone still does work when i'm recording, but i just can't seem to hear it when i have my headphones in anymore? If you can help me out, you are amazing!

- Is Garageband much better on the Mac computer than on the iphone? The reason i ask is because i've used garageband on my phone now for about a year and i find it to be much simpler recording vocals and digital drums than on the laptop. But i feel like there's so much more you can do on the mac with drums and effects. Please let me know if i should totally get lessons for the Mac.
