Getting a replacement iphone 4s with voided warrenty?
So a few weeks ago my iphone 4s battery decides not to charge anymore. (I didn't sign up for apple care because they messed up my order and gave me 4 instead of a 4s and i had to pay the difference in price. Stupid excuse I know.) So I ordered a new battery online and did the replacement myself. ($6.75 over whatever price apple was going to charge me sounded pretty good.) But to my dismay, after the replacement my phone continuously says its "searching" then it has one bar, then the one bar goes away and finally says "No Service"
I know this is a long shot but if I take my phone to apple and they see that I have tampered with the battery will they offer me a replacement for $199.99? Everything works except for no service thing.
Once opened, you voided your warranty.
they will not fix or offer you a replacement.
you will need to buy a new one at full price.

I resently got my iphone 5 lcd fix at a local phone fix store but 3 days after that i dropped my phone and the screen and lcd broke again, putting it back to the same state before it was fixed. However i was given a 30 day warrenty with my purchase (its been a week since). Will my warrenty still cover my phone even if its my fault i dropped it and broke it again?

- When getting a replacement iPhone do apple give you the same model or a newer model? I have an iPhone 5 and on Tuesday I'm getting a replacement because of the battery. Would the "geniuses" give me a newer model (like the iPhone 5c or IPhone 5s) or the same model.
- Replacement Pending iPhone. Replacement phone or fix? My iphone is being repaired and on the apple service page it says 'iPhone replacement pending' and below it says repair complete… I was wondering if this meant that my phone has been repaired or if Apple are sending a replacement iphone different than the original.
