Will apple replace my defective 5C free of charge under warrenty?
I have a iPhone 5C randomly restarts and I would like to know if apple would send me a free replacement or I would get a replacement for free at the apple store with the warrenty have had this iPhone since 5/20/14 telephone warrenty or something expires 8/18/14 and warrenty 5/19/15
When you buy a new device it comes with 90 days of complimentary phone support and a 1- year limited warranty. If you call with a hardware issue you don't need to worry about the phone support period because you don't get charged for support on hardware related issues. we only replace phones with a hardware issue. If it is a software issue there's nothing wrong with the device itself and software issues can be fixed pretty easily. For the problem that you are having, you would not be able to get the device replaced because it is a software issue that is causing the problem. If you have a computer with iTunes you can fix the issue yourself. Just put the device into recovery mode. That will remove the software from the device and then install new software onto it. If it keeps on doing it after you do the recovery mode, do recovery mode again and make sure you set the device up as a new device instead of restoring It from a back up
If there's any problem with the phone, they'll replace the faulty one with a new one then and there.
