Got a new iphone but no service?
I just received my new iphone 5s in the mail and I backed up my phone to it but I don't have service on my new phone, it's still on my old phone. How do I fix this?
What did your carrier tell you?
If your old phone has a SIM card in it that will fit into the new iPhone, put that SIM card into the new phone. See the link below for iPhone SIM instructions.
(Make sure both phones are off before you remove/install the SIM card).
But if the old phone has no SIM card, or it won't fit, or moving the SIM card doesn't help, then call your phone company and ask for help.
- What's an Ios 4.0 cause I just got a new Iphone but the apps require it Well I got a iphone 3g or something like that but whenever I try getting some apps like instagram, facebook or tumblr it always says it needs and ios 4.0 or 4.3 and its kind of irritating -.- The version is 3.0 tho' so help?
- New iPhone won't get service but my older iPhone gets service? I just got a 6s and went to the Verizon store to get my upgrade. I used to have a 5s. My 5s is still getting service and my 6s is not. I turned off cellular data on my 5s and and made sure both data and LTE were working on my 6s but it still isn't working.
- My iPhone 5s got wet but it still working. But the touch screen is a bit slow. Is it safe to use? I dropped my phone in water but pulled it out immediately. I powered it down, dried it off, and let it sit for 30 or so minutes. At first the screen was red but then turned on and everything works. The touch sometimes is unresponsive. Is it safe to use my phone? I'm letting it air dry by a window because rice can cause erosion… Should I use it?
- Just got a new iPhone 4, no service? I turned it on and tried to set it up, but it says "no service" where the signal should be even though my sim card is new (only got it today) it only gives me the Wi-Fi option or the iTunes option. I don't know what to do, I can't reset the settings because the phone hasn't been used yet so it's not activated?
