Got headphone jack wet and now my iphone is stuck in headphone mode?
It was raining, my phone was in my coat pocket, water got into the headphone jack and now it's stuck in headphone mode.
I've tried blowing air into it, cleaning it with a q-tip, unplugging and plugging in my headphones several times, turning my phone on and off, but nothing has worked so far

Once it fully dries out, it may return to normal.
If it doesn't, take it to a phone repair specialist.
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
- Rice stuck in iPhone headphone jack? My phone got wet so i put it in rice, it works fine now but i can't use my headphones because there's rice stuck in the headphone jack! I tried getting it out with tweezers but only like half of it fell out. I tried again with a toothpick but it still won't come out?
- My iphone got wet in the rain and now my sound is playing really low and muffled? It was raining and I was out and my iPhone was in my pocket, I don't even know how it got wet or it could of been a puddle that splashed but now when I play music, phone rings or text alert its very quiet and muffled and crackly or sometimes I can hardly hear anything at all. I've reset it twice now but nothing has changed I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to fix this and has anyone had this problem before want to avoid paying a lot in the shop best I can
- IPhone got wet and headphone won't work? I accidentally dropped my iPhone into water and as soon as it fell I got it out, it had an otter box commuter case on it and I took it off quick and dried it of with a towel. I tried to dry off any water I saw and some got left in the headphone jack and now it says it has the headphones on and used the headphone volume please help. What should I do?
