Got new Iphone 4s what will happen if i connect it to itunes?

I just got a new iphone today and have downloaded 1or 2 apps on it what will happen if i connect it to my itunes that i used for my old ipod touch 3g

I think it automatically starts syncing stuff, that's what happened first time I plugged my iPad, it started imported apps I bought for my iPhone. But I think you should be able to stop the sync though

I'm pretty sure you just add a "new device" onto your itunes library and add your playlists onto it when you go to sync it.

  • What would happen if I got this? I'm trying to get an iPhone without the phone company putting me under a costly data plan. If an iPhone is factory unlocked does that mean anyone can use it as long as it's the same service provider (i.e an AT&T iPhone--factory unlocked--when I have AT&T)? Also will it just allow me to use whatever I already pay for as far as capabilities? For example, I have the 3G Service, and then the general texting and calling functions. Will that stay?
  • What will happen if I update my itunes into itunes 11.0.1? I'm trying to update my iphone3gs to ios 6 but everytime I click update, it says it requires itunes 11.0.1. Should I click download? Coz I got traumatize when my friend clicked something on her itunes and now her iphone is not working anymore. I'm only new in using apple gadgets.
  • What will happen if I got caught doing this? My phone contract had recently ended and can't get new upgrade as its v, expensive! So I have to stick with this broken iPhone for another year! However I feel angry that my mom won't let me upgrade and I really want to use my moms cards and details to secretly buy a new phone contract. So what will happen if they find out that this isn't me?
  • My iPhone got stolen so I ordered a new one, the person then gave it back. Can I sell my new iPhone? I had my iPhone stolen at a campground. I deactivated it and failed a claim to get a new iPhone. The person that stole it then turned it in. Since I have my iPhone back can I sell the new one to a friend?
