Got the latest version of Itunes, but its not recognizing my iphone 5?
I'm on Itunes 11.1.4.62 and haven't seen my iphone in the Devices tab since I got it. I've tried just about everything suggested in the Support section (restarting the Apple Mobile Device Support, buying a different lightning cable), and nothing has worked. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this?
Added (1). Nevermind. Just had to find it in Device Manager (wasn't in the USB section, was in Portable Devices), all good now.
Close all the antivirus and security protection softwares, and reinstall the newest itunes again.
Or Close all the antivirus and security protection softwares first, and restore the Mobile Device in the control panel.
- Why is my Windows XP Not Recognizing My iPhone 4S in iTunes? I just got my iPhone 4S yesterday and I love it. But I can't seem to get music on it. I already have music in my iTunes library that I want to transfer to my iPhone but iTunes doesn't show the iPhone icon on the side. The computer recognizes it as a camera but not music. The computer is a windows XP. What do I do! D
- My iPhone says its up to date but its not? I have the iPhone 4s and every time I go into settings-general-software update, it says my software is up to date with iOS 6.1.3! All my friends have gotten iOS 7 already! Why doesn't mine say I need to update to iOS 7! And how can I make it say that? And I know that the iPhone 4s can get it.
- Itunes not recognizing my Iphone Everytime I try to sync my music to my phone off of one of my computers a pop up window comes up saying "Itunes can't recognize the Iphone unknown error 0xE8000012 occurred." What does this mean? I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Itunes… Help.
