Hard case or rubber case for iphone?
I'm getting an iphone.what's better a hard case or rubber case? Which will protect the phone better?
A rubber case will absorb the shock better if you drop it. I suggest otter box or speck hard shell candy. Also I use lifeproof but that's because I can shower with it, haha
No case.replace the back glass with metal, its cheaper too. I coated the edges of my iphone screen with rubber cement, making sure to not get any over the lcd. The rubber cement just peels off if you pick at so its not permanent. That absorbs any shock so as long as i'm on flat surface i can throw my phone at things and it won't break.

Tech 21 is available in all apple stores. What it is made of is a D3O material goo. What that is, is if you gently squeeze it, it molds in to a different shape but if you hit it hardly, it absorbs the impact… Watch videos about it on youtube. I also saw a video where they dropped the iphone 4s in that case off a 2 story building (the 4s is way more fragile than the 5) and not one crack! Very great case…
Hard case.
Otterbox commuter series. Mine is rubber inside and hard outside so you get the best of both worlds (The rubber makes it shockproof).It also covers the ports to protect it from dust and debris and has a screen protector to protect it from scratches.
- Which is better: a rubber or plastic iphone case? I have an iphone 5 and i've been looking at cases, i don't want any big otter box or anything but the case i'm looking at purchasing comes in a hard plastic or a softer rubber material, which would you suggest to be the better buy?
- What's a good rubber case the for iPhone 5? Does anyone know of a good iPhone 5 case that has rubber on the inside because cases that have plastic on the inside scratches the phone is there a type of case that is rubber on inside and out or the whole thing. Or can you tell me if the otter box scratches the iPhones body and screen.
- What is the tightest fitting rubber iPhone 4 case? Every rubber case I've tried or checked out on other people's phones just sucks. They are way too loose. I'm looking for a rubberish iPhone 4 case that is extremely difficult to stretch fit around the 4 so that it's extremely tight. Has anyone seen anything like this? Please don't recommend any 'Griffin' products.
- What is the difference between and iphone 5 hard case, skin, and hard case skin? I'm looking for a nightmare before christmas case I was looking in amazon and i would see skin and hard case skins. I honestly do not know the difference of a case, skin, and hard case skin in protection and cover. Tell me if one covers the back only, front only, or both
