Which is better: a rubber or plastic iphone case?
I have an iphone 5 and i've been looking at cases, i don't want any big otter box or anything but the case i'm looking at purchasing comes in a hard plastic or a softer rubber material, which would you suggest to be the better buy?
Rubber is more resilient. Plastic can crack and does not allow as much cushioning.

The soft rubber is the best way to go. If you buy the hard case when your drop it it'll break. I have an otter box and its not very big but I highly suggest it. I've dropped my phone multiple times and the phone and case haven't cracked. The otter box is called the commuter. Hope I helped.
Of course rubber is more flexible, so it doesn't crack, but plastic is hard and it gets cracked or even scratched very easily, by the way you can try one of these cases for your iPhone, they have the same features of the very expensive ones, like Otter, lifeProof with cheaper prices and very good quality, they are on eBay so you are protected

Silicon/Rubber case hands down.
Shock Absorbent, dirt and dust resistant, cheap, functional for all the iPhone ports (like radios and chargers) and comes in tons of different designs… I found some here that I've gotten for myself even… They're only $5.95 each with Free Shipping, I didn't think you could beat a price like that lol
Softer rubber is better to protect your phone, but easy to be dirty, plastic case is more portable, and easy to clean, so I prefer plastic case.

- What is the tightest fitting rubber iPhone 4 case? Every rubber case I've tried or checked out on other people's phones just sucks. They are way too loose. I'm looking for a rubberish iPhone 4 case that is extremely difficult to stretch fit around the 4 so that it's extremely tight. Has anyone seen anything like this? Please don't recommend any 'Griffin' products.
