Has Anyone Ever Shopped At C2COffer.com?

I Saw Some Iphone 4s Selling For $36.00 And an Iphone 5 for $150, i heard that this website is a scam but i wanna Know the reviews of different people everywhere.

It looks like a site that may not do identity theft itself but allows individuals of no known reliability to do what they want.
The domain hides behind a privacy protection service. Here is its BBB record:

Their rating is F.

Those are very cheap offers, indeed! I can't directly label c2coffer.com as scammers, but they seem to have some reputation issues. With that, I want to share with you some tips when I'm doubtful of a website, especially if it is selling too-good-to-be-true items.

1) You can use a free tool called Verify1st.com to check any website of your concern. It uncovers a website's identity, reputation, and relationships with other sites. Check http://verify1st.com/c2coffer.com and you'll see what I mean. It even has a toolbar that you can download so that it can instantly check a website's reputation plus identity while you're browsing the net. Pretty cool! Try it for yourself!

2) Though Verify1st can give you an instant overall review, you can still check http://www.whois.com/whois/c2coffer.com to see the domain's registry details. As you can see, their domain has been registered since 23-Nov-2008 and intends to stay for another 8 years. Though this is not a common behavior among scammers, it's still hard to say that they are risk-free. You still need to be extra vigilant!

3) Another thing that I look for is their popularity ranking.http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/c2coffer.com shows that it has a LOW global rank by Alexa, with about 270 sites linking into their website. Though it's good to have a lot of sites linking to their site, are these numbers good enough? (Hmm… )

4) In terms of web safety, their site hasn't been included in the blacklists, which is good. However, most of the online reputation tools are saying that there are potential suspicious behaviors that may pose a security risk to the users. BEWARE!

5) Upon checking their site, they have About Us, Contact Us, and User Agreement pages. It's funny though that I see some grammatical errors in here. Anyway, I may just be too perfectionist, but the most important part is that I see no contact numbers, but there are physical and e-mail addresses. I would still prefer if there's a number to call to so that you can at least talk to someone first before finally deciding to transact with them.

6) Finally, there seems to be quite a lot of negative reviews that I found, which lead for another reputation tool to give the site VERY POOR ratings in terms of trustworthiness and reliability, and POOR ratings in terms of privacy, and child safety. Check out these mixed review sites and you'll see: (Be reminded that these are highly subjective.)

Bottom line, seeing all these information don't make them scammers at once, but again, they're not completely risk-free either. It's still up to you to take a chance, but if you have any skepticism, just trust your gut. Hope this helps!
