Has anyone has this problem out of country with iPhone?
So I'm in Mexico and turned on airplane mode and turned off cellular data.
I'm using Wi-Fi currently.
Has anyone done the same and came home to being charged for using data? I wanna know so I can stop now.
If your on airplane you shouldent be charged.
Wi-Fi is free, you can also send imessages and facetime free over Wi-Fi even internationally
- Will T-Mobile charge me extra for texting out of the country? One of my friends is in Egypt. She texted me last night and I hesitated to reply because I was afraid that they would charge me like $20 since its Egypt. I ended up replying once and now i'm afraid. My mom will kill me if they charge a lot. However, I have unlimited texting and she texted me from an app which is from the iphone i think… Will they charge me?
- What is the information that I need to know about using my AT&T iPhone out of the country? I have AT&T. I have an iPhone. I'm going to Cabo San Lucas through July 1st-July 5th. I want to use my cell phone to take pictures and post Facebook/Instagram updates, without getting charged for international rates. Suggestions? Like turning off data or using Wi-Fi or using airplane mode.
- Traveling out of the country with an iPhone? So I'm leaving to France soon and want to take my phone but at the same time sacred because I don't want to pay ANYTHING while I'm there. I don't want to use text messaging or calls or anything I just want to be on Wi-Fi there. So if I turn my data off, and voice and data roaming off and be on Wi-Fi I'll be ok? Like seriously tho I don't want to pay a crazy bill when I get back.
- Traveling out of country with iPhone 4? I'm going on vacation out of the US For a week. I want to use my phone to take pictures, post pictures to Instagram, text friends(with iPhones), etc. How can I do that without getting a high bill? Should I make them text my iMessage email or my regular cell number. Aside from turning off cellular data and data roaming, what else should I do?
