Have I been blocked on imessage?

I have an ipod and texting someone with am iPhone. I use iMessage and when I send messages it never says delivered and now today I get a red message failed icon it works for everyone else besides this person what could it be?

Can and does happen sometimes. Log out of your iCloud account, and turn iMessages off. Shut the iPod off. Restart, log in, and turn iMessages back on and try again. Make sure your are texting to the person's phone number and not email address. Just make sure. Hopefully it resolves. IMessage runs off of Apple's serviers and not a cell carrier's towers. Sometimes their servers get choked up. Best luck.

It also depends on whether both of you have access to Wi-Fi when you are texting. Because you are using an ipod with imessages, it will only go through if you are both access to Wi-Fi.

Ask the person if they tured off iMessege. If you have an iPod using iMessege is the only way to messege somebody using iPhone. So if they turn off iMessege they will go to SMS (text-messege) and you messege won't me delivered/received.
