Have I been blocked?
I'm calling a friend and she has an iPhone. When I dial the number there's one ring and then there's the automated "i'm sorry but the person you've called doesn't have a voice mail box set up yet goodbye".
If you've been calling her serval times (more than 1 day) then you've probably been blocked or ignored. Or highly unlikely something happened to her phone.
The message means exactly what it says ---
her voicemail hasn't been set up.
Unless she sets it up, you will have to live with things as they are.

She got a new phone and months later that number called. Did she lie to me. She uses the same icloud account, the same phone number.

I have read the whatsapp page about how to know if someone has blocked you however it's very unclear.
