Having Trouble With Ebay Seller?

I did the 'buy now' feature on ebay; before I could pay I got a message from the seller telling me that he no longer had the color of the iPhone case I picked out and asked if I wanted another color. I told him no, and asked him to cancel my order, he said okay, you buy from me next time.

I replied 'thank you', then his next email was asking me if I liked my purchase; I replied back; "No, remember you were supposed to cancel my order."

He replies back a few days later that if I don't pay he can't place my order.

I don't know what to do. Buyers can't cancel their orders; the sellers have to do that; and I'm having the hardest time. He told me he didn't have my color; I asked him to cancel it, he said yes; so I bought another one.

I just don't know what to do. So I reminded him after that email; that he's supposed to cancel it due to not having the color I wanted; and thanked him for his understanding. But I doubt it'll help.

I've dealt with Ebay for about 5 years now and the corporation itself is very trustworthy. Sellers themselves can be a bunch of liars sometimes though. I think there's a way you can notify Ebay and tell them what happened somehow.

It's really easy to get in contact with ebay customer service… You look at the contact us info on their customer service site… They give you a phone code… You call… They answer… You tell them the problem… They resolve it for you…
