Help me come up with a convincing argument for my mom to get me a new phone?

I have an iPhone 7 and it's only a year and a half old but it's broken (the screen isn't cracked or anything it just doesn't work). It's constantly glitching, a fully charged battery will run out in four hours even if I'm not on my phone, text messages never go through, and it's constantly shutting itself off. I still have six months left on the contract though, and so my mom would owe $175 on it. That's why she's hesitant to get me a new one. It's not like she doesn't have the money to spend on it, she just thinks I'll be fine to wait and get a new phone, but mine really doesn't work. She knows it's having these problems, but she still wants to wait until my contract is up to get a new one. Can someone please try and help me come up with a convincing argument to try and get her to get me a new phone?

Time to grow up and get an Android phone

Sure, tell her you'll pay her back. That should do it.

Take it in for repairs. That would be cheaper than replacing it.

You should not be buying phones on monthly contract. If you can't buy it yourself then you have a problem. She has dozens of bills to pay every month. You can get a good workable phone for about $200 on Gazelle.com. Cheaper on Ebay.

You broke the last one, why would she spend money to get you a new one. Why don't you pay for fix your phone screen & then unload all the junk apps on your phone to fix the glitching problem. Back up your important stuff to the cloud on a free platform like Deloo.

Why do you need a phone, I did not need one in school, except when I broke my leg.

If you need to contact her you won't be able to if your phone is busted

If you are still living at home or still in school you have zero need for any phone.
Phones should not be leagal for anyone under 18.

Please do your whining elsewhere.
