Help picking a provider for iphone 4 cheapest one?
Okay so my friend gave me her iPhone 4 but it was connected to sprint so I'm wondering if I do connect it to sprint how much am I gonna pay? Can I change the company? If I can change the company wich is the cheapest one? Could I put this iPhone for virgin mobile?
Sprint is CDMA so you can't change the company. Only GSM phones that use sim cards such as AT&T and TMobile can be interchanged. Sprint is probably the cheapest for an individual plan anyway though since it only costs about $80 per month for unlimited EVERYTHING on the iPhone
You can connect it to straight talk i believe if i'm not mistaken
You can't link it with Virgin Mobile. They make it so that if you want an iPhone with their company you have to actually buy THEIR iPhone.
StraightTalk is what I would recommend if you want cheap plan yet good coverage and service. Virgin is cheaper but their coverage and service are not that good.
- Worth picking up an Iphone 4 for $279? It's not the S model, I don't believe, but is that a good price? Or can I find something significantly better for the price? If so, please drop some names for me. Would prefer if this was an established brand - respect by both buyers and tech-savvy reviewers (Cnet.com, etc).
- Why is my laptop not picking up my Wi-Fi but my iphone is? I have an 'Acer Aspire One Happy 2' laptop that runs on windows 7. I have just gone to my grans and her Wi-Fi works fine on my Iphone 4 but my laptop is not even picking up the signal. My laptop works fine at the Mcdonalds round the corner from me so why isn't it working here. I even typed it in manually and it didn't work, its not picking up any signal at all
- What is the cheapest plan, with the cheapest iPhone 4? This will be my first time being on a contract, and I need to know the cheapest one, I don't get paid a lot.
- Unlocked IPhone 5. Can be ported to one GSM provider but not another. Why? My friend in South Africa got an AT&T model of Iphone5. It is now unlocked and has been ported to one of his providers. He doesn't like the data rates and wanted it on either "Cell C" or "8TA" (which is Telecom Mobile) Both are GSM providers I believe. So why can the phone be ported to one GSM provider, but not the other? Should the Iphone 5 be possible unlocked in a different fashion? he assures me, it should work on the other networks in SA.
