Help restoring an iPhone that I found please? I can't figure anything out
So today I found an iPhone on the city bus and now I'm sitting at home with it. I've been without a phone for the last few years so I decided to hold on to it. I've tried restoring it with iTunes but it's connected to a Find My iPhone account and I can't find a way around that. If anyone knows one please help me
Find my iphone is used to locate a lost iphone, they could get your address through the GPS function. Never keep a lost phone, always try to return it.
While I don't suggest this there's a way, now I don't suggest this because it's a lost iPhone with a " Find my iPhone application " which means they can find you if you use the phones Wi-Fi, however you will need to put the device in DFU mode, to put it in DFU mode you need to turn the device off, after it's off tap and hold the lock button, and when the screen lights up hold the home button at the same time not releasing either button until the devices screen turns black again, once it's turned black release both button and test it to see if it's in DFU mode, to test it hold the lock button and attempt to turn it on, if it doesn't turn on then it's in DFU mode. Now connect it to iTunes and it will ask if you want to restore it to factory settings. Do the restore process and wait or it to complete, you are now finished restoring the device hope this helped ~ Jake, Apple Manager
- I just started playing SPYmouse on my iPhone and I can't figure out the cats? I just started playing this game and my brother had mentioned how in the tutorial it describes the cats and how to get around them, but I never saw a tutorial so I can't figure out these cats. Does anyone know a site I can check for the description? Or where in the game it tells me.
- I have an old iPhone 1 and it's iOS is way out of date. I can't figure out how to update my iOS? My iPhone 1 needs an iOS update but the Software Update tab isn't in my settings (Settings>>General>>Software Update) and I can't figure out how else to update it. Can someone with computer/iPhone/technology experience help me please?
- I found a Verizon iPhone 4 but I can't figure out who it belongs to? When I turned it on it goes into setup mode. So I have to assume that someone reset it because it does have a apple Id but I don't know what it is. How can I find out who it belongs to so I can give it back to them? I legitimately want to give it back. I'm part of team #RAK #KCCO. So don't be a dick and say something smart. Please.
- I did a factory reset on my iPhone 6s and I'm locked out of it? How do I figure out the activation lock? I've been trying to figure this out for an hour now and came up with nothing. Yeah, I had bought another phone since I was locked out of my iPhone for a week with no idea how to get past it.
