I, v just bought an Iphone (refurbished), and unlocked?
Can someone please tell me what type of sim card do I need, normal/micro? Being unlocked, does this mean that I can use any network sim?
You didn't say what type of iPhone.
If its a 3 or 3G it has a normal sim. 4 4s have micro sim and the 5 has a nano sim.
If its unlocked you can use any carrier.
The type of SIM card you need will depend on which iPhone you have. The first iPhones (2G, 3G, 3GS) used standard SIM Cards, the iPhone 4 and 4S used MicroSIM, while the more recent iPhone 5 used the even smaller NanoSIM. No idea what the next lot will use - subatomic SIM perhaps.
Unlocked means you can insert a SIM card from any mobile phone network - there are no restrictions in this regard.
Since it is already factory unlock, you can use any sim card to your phone. As for the sims, if you have an iphone 4 and 4s you need to use a micro sim card. If iphone 5, you need to use a nano sim. If you need an assistance on this, just call or go to your carrier and ask them what sim card works with your phone.
- Where can i get a unlocked refurbished iphone 5s cheaper than 500 dollars? I have wanted an iPhone 5s ever since it came out, and my parents can't afford to pay $700 dollars for one. My mom told me she would try and get me a refurbished unlocked one (we're on straight talk, we can't afford a contract service) for my 8th grade graduation, which is in one year. Does anyone know where I can get an unlocked, refurbished iPhone 5s cheaper than $500?
- Where Can I Buy A Refurbished Unlocked Iphone Five or Samsung Galaxy S3? I'm with Koodo. The most I would pay for it is four hundred dollars, but I'm aiming for a lower price. Because this site is known for its ignorant visitors who think it's funny to write unnecessary and unhelpful things, I'll make the request for idiot-free responses please. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help. I would prefer to buy it somewhere in Eastern Canada.
- Should I just get my cracked iPhone fixed or get a refurbished one? I have an iPhone 4 and I cracked the front pretty badly. The back only had on crack across it but the front is bothering me. Would it be better to pay $200 at apple to get it fixed? Or buy a refurbished one from them! Help! I'm a little nervous to attempt fixing it myself. I'm NOT good with things like that and after watching a video I'm 95% sure I'd ruin the phone/lose a screw lol.
- I just recently bought an iPhone 4s that isn't factory unlocked? I'm a t-mobile customer and I have never had any relation with At&t. I was told I can get the phone unlocked through At&t but am having trouble getting it unlock due to lack of information and not being a customer. Does anybody know if I can get my phone unlocked by T-mobile?
