My iphone 3gs is giving me trouble when i update and restore it, error 23?

My iphone 3gs is giving me trouble when i update and restore it. It says an unkown error has occurred and I can't restore it. Also I can never turn it on when it isn't charging. But when it is charging it either has the apple logo or says i need to connect to itunes and thats it! Please help! I need real help! Anybody who knows what they are doing!

There are different possible solutions to this problem. Try updating your iTunes to the latest version. Secondly, update your iPhone officially via iTunes and not manually if your phone is factory unlocked. If still the problem persists, try using a different computer. Hope this helps!
