Hiding Caller ID on the iPhone?

Ok so i want to know whether disabling the Caller ID on the iPhone will hide my number when i'm sending Texts/sms aswell?

Click on the gray Settings icon on your iPhone's home screen.

Scroll down to the third section of the screen and tap "Phone."

Tap the "Show My Caller ID" line.

Tap the "On" button next to "Show My Caller ID" to toggle the button to the "Off" position.

If you make a video call using an iPhone with Face Time capabilities, your number appears in the recipient's caller ID, even if you turn the setting off.

  • Why do i feel like hiding away? Lately i have been thinking about how people hide behind their computers, iphones, and avoid each other. I could go spend time with my housemate out in the lounge room but i just feel like hiding. I don't really feel a connection to her, and i feel a little bit sad today
  • What's the difference between an 'unkown' caller and 'no caller ID'? This unknown number keeps ringing me, and i thought if someone blocked their numbers (on iphones) it comes up as no caller ID so i'm not sure if it is still a blocked number or a number that can't come trhough. But when i answer nobody speaks and they've rang one of my friends so its not a scam phone call also they don't speak at all so if it was a company of some sort they must of spoken so its probably a prank call but i wanna know the difference to make sure.
  • Is there a caller block app for iPhone? So this guy keeps calling me and texting me and I wanna block him but when I looked online it says my phone has to be jail broken to do it but is there any other way because I'm just getting annoyed because I told the guy I'm not interested and he want leave me alone.
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
