How anybody used a FM transmitter?

I'm looking into buying a good one since I'm tired of listening to the radio and can only haveba certain amount of songs on a CD. I do have a iPhone 4S (if that matters) have a ton of song like 1, 000 on it. Does anybody know any good brand to buy? Not looking to pay a fortune for one probable $20 at the most.

I never had good luck with them and my library card keeps me in books on CD and Music CDs

I have heard some of the more expensive ones work better but I have never had on work well for me but I did always have the low end ones and my last car had the antenna on the roof and it might have worked better if antenna in window

Broadcasting from an FM transmitter without a license from the FCC is illegal. If, and when you get caught with it, it will result in the seizure of any device you have connected to the transmitter by the FCC, and then up to a $25, 000.00 fine. Not a good idea. If you broadcast commercially produced music, like from CD's, you can also be liable for paying royalties to the artists you have ripped off. The FCC is VERY aggressive at stopping illegal transmitters, and has observers in just about every community in the USA. I'm a volunteer FCC Observer, and I do frequency sweeps with two other FCC Observers at lest twice a month, and we can shut down just about anyone we hear who is operating illegally within 24 hours. The RF spectrum in the US is crowded, and companies pay big money to make sure they have a clean section of spectrum to operate their radio systems, that's in broadcast and two way.
