How are people selling the iphone 5s on ebay?
How are they selling preorders for $1000 (with bids!) even though it hasn't come out yet AND Apple is allowing pre-orders.
And how exactly does it work? I have a 4s with an upgrade available. If i buy the 5s for 200 dollars can i too sell it for 1000 dollars?
You're missing the point, which is TIMING. The $1000 is to make sure you get it on the first day of release (that's what pre-order means). There are people in the world that want to be FIRST! Even if it means extra cash output.
If you buy the 5s for $200, that means you got it way after the release date. Therefore, who will pay $1000 for something they can get for themselves for $200?
Just because they are asking a $1000 doesn't mean its selling for that. So sure, go ahead and try.
