Selling an iphone with bad ESN on ebay?
Is it okay to sell a perfect conditioned iphone with a bad esn on ebay? What are the buyers options with the phone if they purchased it? Is it available to be jail broken or unlocked?
Yeah people buy phones with bad esn all the time. It can be jailbroken/unlocked so they can use it like a regular iPod Touch but more powerful.
IPhones with bad ESN's are pretty useless, the most use they will ever have is as an iPod touch.
Yes, people do buy iPhones with bad ESN's, just make sure the buyer knows it's bad (put it in the title or something) so people won't get the wrong idea and think it's a fully working one.
Often times, people either just sell it for parts, or factory unlock it and sell it abroad where it can be used in another country.
