How can I fix my Instagram and other apps without hard resetting or taking it to the apple store?

So earlier this month I updated my Iphone 6s plus to the new update that allows you to facetime with a multiple number of people. During the update, My Wi-Fi went down, and it took a lot of time until it finished, and when i started my social media apps, it would freeze and crash. Many other apps had similar effects and my other apps would process a lot slower. Is there another way that I can fix this without hard resetting or taking it to the apple store? Btw I had already tried to soft reset and it barely does anything

I recently sold an iPhone 4 on ebay and obviously I want to reset it. However, I have been told that after you reset it, you'll have to use the original apple ID you started with. Is this true? If it is, how do I do make it so that you can use any apple ID to set it up?

Basically, I like taking/saving loads of Photos, and creating a lot of notes but, I was wondering If there's an APP maybe connected to a site where I can sign up and store loads of stuff in there, without it taking my Phone memory up, any help would be much appreciated, also, I might be getting a new Phone soon so, It'd be very useful to have that APP, I have an APP called SpringPad but, I think that takes up space when you add things to it.
