Setting up an iPhone after resetting it without using previous apple id?
Ok, so my title doesn't really make sense but here's my situation. I recently sold an iPhone 4 on ebay and obviously I want to reset it. However, I have been told that after you reset it, you'll have to use the original apple ID you started with. Is this true? If it is, how do I do make it so that you can use any apple ID to set it up?
No just do a full reset, I think its the second option under the reset options. I will wipe everything you ever did on it and return it to factory settings. Make sure so take your cloud id off if you have it set to your icloud in the icloud settings.
No you use whoever's ID is currently on it. If you had it setup as yours then it would ask for your password to wipe, then the next user can set it up as their own after that, etc.

On resetting all setting my jailbroken twicks disapperd and my iphone started running in safe mode. On clicking on exit safe mode and restarting, my iphone is still running in the safe mode. - IPhone stuck on apple logo after resetting and won't connect to iTunes? Ok so I reset my iPhone (settings-general-reset entire phone) and now it's frozen on the apple logo with a loading wheel, I know how to fix it but the main problem is that I actually never connected my iPhone to iTunes and I just recently downloaded iTunes but my PC won't read my iPhone… Can anyone help me on how to fix it without connecting it to iTunes?
- I found an iPhone and I can't activate it without the previous owners info I found an iPhone 5s and I restored it to keep it. I was setting it up and the phone said "Active iPhone" it's linked to the previous owners ID and was wondering if I could bypass this or something? Anything will help.
