How can I free up space on my C drive? A lot of space is occupied by iTunes because of iPhone backup?
Recently I have backed up my iPhone on my windows PC through iTunes for windows. But after backing up only 3.75 gbspace free on my C drive out of 42gb. Now how can I free some spaces? Should I uninstall iTunes? If i do so then where my iPhone backup files will destined to?
Hard drives are so cheap these days, you can probably get another hard drive for $20 or so and put two drives into your computer. Or spend a little more money on a larger drive, which would anyway the way to go because I would think you can easily get 500 GB for $50.
If you don't want to deal with putting the hard drive into your computer, get an external hard drive and use this for backup. Two terabytes for $70…
Though make sure your system can deal with large drives. Tell the people at the store what version of windows you run. Having only 40 GB makes me think you have a pretty old computer.
Another option would be buying a new computer if your computer is very old. You should be able to get a new laptop with 1TB of hard drive for $300-$400. Maybe it's time for a general upgrade.
