How to get a full 8 hours sleep?
My wife normally stays awake until 11 PM or even midnight and then when she does get to sleep she spends about a good half hour on her iphone. I'm the kind of person that can't sleep unless everything is as dark and silent as the grave. If I try to go to bed early she will invariably stay awake and either watch tv or surf the web, but even if she turns the volume down the glare keeps me awake. All of this is compounded by the fact that I have a cat who loves to wake me up anywhere between 2 and 4 AM. Also I'm taking the GRE soon and I find myself so anxious thinking about it that I simply can't get any sleep. I've been averaging about 2 to 3 hours sleep a night. Are there any non-habit forming sleep aids that are strong enough to knock me the f*** out?
You can try doing an intense workout 2 hours before bed.
Try deep yogic relaxation technique called yognidra. Its a great way to relax brain and mind which let you sleep easily. You have to just listen the instruction and try to follow them mentally even in your bed.

Have a cup of hot chamomile tea (no sugar or honey)… Non addictive, tastes great, and puts you to sleep like a log.
- What's the best activity/sleep/exercise tracking wristband I can get for the $? In trying to lose weight and get in better shape. I've always liked gadgets and know there are a bunch of bracelets / wristbands that track your sleeping, calories, activity and exercise. I only have $100 to spend. It'd be cool if it could synch with and Android smartphone because that's what I have. I know some synch with iPhones. I know Nike makes one but its expensive and I've heard bad things. Can anyone suggest anything?
- No matter how much sleep I get I'm always feeling tired? Okay, so diabetes does run in my family and so does "low iron" etc etc. But I can sleep for hours and still be tired.
- My iPhone 4 goes into sleep mode? Okay so when I wake up in the morning I'll check my phone and have no missed callls or messages, and then all of a sudden I'll get all these text at one time and people say they have been trying to call all morning! It's making me mad and I don't know how to fix it. My alarm works and everything and they say my phone rings! Anyone know how to fix this?
- Is 2 hours of sleep better than none? Hello:-) so I just got done with homework (spend 5 hours on it) and I'm just a little sleepy so I don't wanna stay up but will it be harder to wake up? I'm a deep sleeper and most of the times I never hear my alarm on my iphone it just shows a lot of alarms and they say tap to snooze or something (I set a lot of alarms) I've even tried putting in far away but I guess I didn't hear it anyways, 2 hours or none?
