How can i get a student job?
Hey so i have an iphone 5 and it's extremely slow and i can barely text rn. Everyone makes fun of me for having an outdated phone. And i can't seem to get a job to pay for one. I've been trying to get a job ever since the iphone 6s came out. My parents won't buy me one so i have to work for one and i can't get one i'm currently 17 years old i have no work experience or references to get in anywhere
Iphones don't give you the performance to money that a samsung does. Get something used, you do not need one that is brand new
Hmm, it seems I answered this question already… Okay we can turn this into a video game side quest… 1. If you live in a US state where they pay cash for aluminum cans, plastic and glass bottles, you take your dogs for a walk every night (or you go for a walk every night) and you bring some plastic bags with you you and you pick up all the aluminum cans, glass and plastic bottles and put them in the bags. Do this every evening. At the end of each week, take the cans and bottles to the recycling place and get the cash return. BOSS LEVEL: if you go to the park after the concert in the park and be brave enough to collect all those bottles and cans and get the money for those! 2. Go through your closet and clear out clothes you no longer wear. Clean the clothes and look for and clip hanging threads, repair minor holes and replace missing buttons. Take the clothes to the consignment store and sell them at the consignment store. In 60 days go back and check your account. PART TWO --- help your friends clean out their closets, and take home their unwanted clothes, clean and repair and take to the consignment store and add to your sell account. PART THREE --- volunteer at the local church and help with their annual rummage sale. At the end of the sale, take home ALL the women and children's clothes, clean all the clothes, pull out the clothes that fit you to keep for yourself, take all that does not fit and all the children's clothes to the consignment store and sell. In about 90 days or by Christmas you should have enough for your new phone. MINI BOSS LEVEL: Take back whatever the consignment store rejects for their shop, and once a month have a yard sale and sell the clothes for $1 each. BOSS LEVEL: Have your friends clean out their rooms and let you have their stuff to sell at your yard sale. Fix and repair broken items, clean toys, repaint ugly into cute. Sell items for $1 each. FINAL BOSS LEVEL: Help your parents and neighbors clean their garages and basements. Watch videos on how to refurbish furniture, and clean, sand, and paint the furniture pieces. Watch HGTV and youtube videos on how to "flip" furniture pieces, and again, sand, repair, and paint ugly into cute. Sell for the cost of repair materials, and paint, plus 5% for your labor. Have your yard sale in late September when it is cooler and people move to go to a new job after the college students leave and the summer tourists are gone and things settle down but before the Christmas shopping begins. >>>>>>>> IF YOU DO ALL THIS, YOU SHOULD HAVE MONEY FOR YOUR PHONE BY CHRISTMAS. And don't forget to keep an eye on really good sale prices for "Black Friday" deals.

- How to get a job fixing electronics? Recently fixed my broken iPhone, and it was fun taking it apart and reassembling it. Felt like it was a puzzle I was putting together and I enjoyed learning what all the different parts were and how to fix various common problems. I know craigslist is full of people advertising iPhone/electronics repair, but what kind of formal training could I get to expand my ability and become more legitimate?
