How to make my YouTube work and faster for my iPhone 4s?

So I have an iPhone 4s, which works pretty good. Except for the YouTube! Both safari and the application are very slow and they suck. Sometimes only the sound comes out so I need to go back and try it again. And sometimes it loads too much and the request times out and it takes me back to the previous page. And it's slow. Any tips on making it faster of at least make it work better?
