How can I put my iPhone in discoverable mode?
You can't
Find an app.
It's already discoverable, whenever Bluetooth is on. That's how iPhones can find each other for AirDrop.
"Discoverable mode" is mode closely associated with the need to pair a new Bluetooth device (unless you are looking to do something else). To get into this mode you simply go to settings-->Bluetooth. As long as the iPhone is unlocked with this screen open the iPhone is discovable to new Bluetooth devices.
Once bluetooth is on, it is in that mode.

- How to switch from 5ghz mode to 2.4ghz mode for Wi-Fi sharing on Dell Latitude 3340? I'm using a program called Connectify Hotspot on my Dell Latitude 3340 which is running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit. I want to connect my iPhone 4 to the hotspot but because my iPhone is so old, and my laptop is so new, it doesn't support the network channel. I just want to know how to switch from 5ghz mode, to 2.4gz mode so my iPhone can connect.
